Who Else is There to Bet on?

Let's be real, self- doubt is a bitch. It comes in like a thief in the night, trying to steal your favorite candy, and stays like an unwanted set of ants in your house, no matter how much raid you've sprayed!

It can be annoying as hell to want to move forward with something, a project, decision, your next move, then you have that little annoying ass " what if" in your head that tries to stop you.

How do you cope with this? I'm asking you because you've found your way here. I will tell you how I deal with my fears and my choice to choose me, always, despite the apprehension I battle with.

I never ever want to live with a " coulda, shoulda, woulda" mindset; I don't believe in regrets. I believe that if I don't take the chance, there will be an element of FOMO there for me, and I don't enjoy that feeling.

Betting on yourself doesn't mean you're guaranteed to win. You're just giving yourself a fighting chance, and I do think that is where we get stuck. We want the reassurance before we make the move. We want to know that it will all work out... the relationship, the career change, or the idea we've been sitting on for the last 6 years since the big... You know what... pan.../cov...(I'm not trying to get my blog taken down lol)

Big question is, who exactly is supposed to give us that guarantee?

Nobody. Absolutely nobody.

And if you're sitting up in your room like Brandy, waiting for the perfect circumstances, the topped up bank account, the perfect time, or everyone around you to understand your vision, you might be waiting until Usher finally makes up his mind in "Confessions part 3 " love. Not a good thing to do.

You might fail, you might embarrass yourself, have absolutely ZERO LIKES because the algorithm is really trash, and people are allergic to supporting you, and you might have to start over more times than you'd like. So what thought? At least you'll have a story to tell instead of wondering how it could've gone.

Do your research, make your plans , take calculated risks, but please make the move. You're good enough. Period. You already have what it takes. Go for it.

The world doesn't owe you an opportunity, but you definitely owe yourself the chance to try.

If you're not willing to bet on yourself, why should anybody else?

I. SEE. YOU.

With Love,

Miss Trish
